Collective enterprise

Reaching further.

Community-owned organisations connect farmers, local products and new market opportunities.

Collective enterprise

Farmers at the centre
of the value chain.

Producer organisations give farmers a shared platform for inputs, aggregation and marketing.

Vanasamakhya supports two community institutions linked to Maa Thota farmers: Medaram FPO and Sammakka Sarakka Farmers Producer Company Ltd. Each has its own activities and organisational identity.

Medaram FPO

tribal products.

Formed by Phase 1 Maa Thota farmers, SSFPCL supports tribal products and women’s enterprises.

Natural forest honey, pickles and other products are marketed through Medaram’s Gram Dukan and NABARD-supported stalls. Collective mango marketing creates opportunities to connect orchard produce directly with consumers.

The company also received ₹40,000 in godown rent during 2025–26, adding another source of institutional income.
